M&C Saatchi launches first work for Jaguar after winning regional advertising account

M&C Saatchi's first work for Jaguar: interview with

Jaguar’s short film with chef Andre Chiang talking about innovation

M&C Saatchi has been appointed by Jaguar to handle its advertising across the region as the luxury car marque looks to expand its brand presence in Asia.

The agency has just launched its first campaign for Jaguar using the “How alive are you?” proposition. The campaign showcases the brand’s values of performance, design and innovation.

The campaign deploys print, digital, social media, event marketing and branded content. The brand’s values are amplified through short films in which a musician, a chef and a film-maker talk about their approach to performance, design and innovation.

The first of the brand films, which are running on Jaguar’s Asia website, features film-maker Eric Khoo talking about his approach to design.

The second film features chef André Chiang take on innovation

In a third film, musician Min Lee gives her views on performance.

Jaguar’s website also features a global ad for the F-Type starring Ben Kingsley, which first aired during the Super Bowl. In the ad, the actor asks: “Have you ever noticed that in Hollywood movies all the villains are played by Brits?”

M&C Saatchi will handle the regional account out of its Singapore office, and work with affiliates in other markets to roll out campaigns across the region.
