BBH names James Sowden head of planning and David Webster chief growth officer
BBH has promoted James Sowden to head of planning and David Webster to the newly created new business role of chief growth officer.
Both also hold the title of managing partner.
Sowden, who joined BBH in 2008 from the now-defunct planning agency Bellamyhayden, moves up from engagement planning director. He has led strategy for BBH clients including Johnnie Walker, Singapore Tourism Board, Axe, Chupa Chups and IKEA.
Webster, who was an account director at BBH London before moving to Asia in 2008, is promoted from digital business development director. During nine years at the agency, he has worked on accounts including Perfetti Van Melle, British Airways and Nike.
