Grey wins Reach Mobile in India

Grey has announced winning the creative account for Reach Mobile in India after a competitive pitch.

The announcement:

India, Kolkata, 16 October 2014 – Grey Group India has been awarded the creative duties of Reach Mobile, part of US $ 1 Bn Rashmi Group of Companies, who are mainly the manufacturers of cement, steel pipes, TMT bars, mobile handsets & offer services in the B2B e-commerce category. GREY group won the account in a multi-agency pitch process.

Mr. Sunil Patwari – Managing Director & Vice Chairman, Reach Mobile says: “Out of several top agencies of India, we have selected GREY based on their category understanding, we wish to be among the top handset players of the nation in due course”.

The mobile handsets have been introduced in the category of smart phones and feature phones in India, through the brand ‘Reach Mobile’. The smart phones are designed and develop specially keeping the Indian youth factor in mind. Mapping out the right strategy for the targeted audience, Reach Mobile plans to launch innovative handsets in the near future. Reach Mobile intend to invest over Rs.50 crore in the marketing plan for the next 12 months.

We intend to deepen the connection of ReachMobile through youth via our effective communication solutions” Presently Reach Mobile is selling around 50,000 handsets per month, which is expected to double up in the next three months.
