‘Relatively unknown’ Cheil trumpets awards won in China

Ad agency Cheil has announced winning a number of awards in China.

The announcement:

Oct 31st, 2014 – Beijing: Cheil Greater China, a relatively unknown agency in the local industry and proved its capabilities and has made headlines in the media at two of China’s most important advertising festivals, ROI Festival and China International Advertising Festival.

At ROI Festival, which was held in Shanghai from October 21 – 23, Cheil Greater China was awarded the Best Creative Agency of the Year, as well as 5 Golds, 4 Silvers and 1 bronze medals. And Cheil OpenTide (now known as Cheil Pengtai) received 3 Gold, and 1 Silver.

China International Advertising Awards, which is held at different China cities each year held this year’s festival in Guizhou from October 24 – 27. During this festival, the CIAF hosts four award shows – Yellow River Awards, Great Wall Media Marketing and Interactive Creative, China Element and Great Wall Awards.

Cheil China picked up the Best Agency of Year at the Great Wall Interactive Creative awards, while Cheil Pengtai received the Best Digital Agency Award. A total of 26 medals were won within the Cheil Greater China network, which also include 2 Grand Prixs and the Best Campaign Work Award which was voted by online WeChat users.

It seems that the decision to place our works, our creativity as a centerpiece of our strategy is now paying off handsomely.
