Michel Mommejat ends eight years with Wunderman as he joins FleishmanHillard

PR agency FleishmanHillard has hired Michel Mommejat as regional MD of digital engagement initiatives APAC. He brings to an end almost eight years with direct and digital agency Wunderman.

The Frenchman moved into a role as Asia MD of Wunderman-aligned network AdPeople in 2013. Prior to that he was Wunderman’s regional development director.

The move marks a return to Omnicom for Mommejat, who has worked at what is now known as Digital Arts Network (formerly Tequila) in Paris, London and Tokyo. He helped set up the Japan operations for DAN as well as shopper marketing firm Integer Group. 

He will report to Lynne Anne Davis, Fleishman’s APAC president.

She said: “Michel brings the ideal combination of innovation excellence, global brand management mastery, and a collaborative spirit that will make him extremely busy and successful at FleishmanHillard.”

“He will play an active role in shaping FleishmanHillard as the agency of the future in Asia by connecting brands and people with a global data-driven insights approach to content creation, social engagement, commerce, measurement and optimisation,” he said.
