Beijing Subway suggests it’s so fast the city’s emergency services are using it
Ad agency Grey has released a campaign for Beijing Subway that proposes that taking the subway is the fastest mode of transport in the traffic choked city.
The print and outdoor campaign features various public services teams who have opted to take the train rather than their emergency vehicles.
Beijing’s fireman also now prefer public transport.
The third features a team of pizza delivery boys taking the train.
In response to Mumbrella’s questions about the campaign’s media exposure and duration, Grey said the first phase of the campaign ran as ads on elevators in Chaoyang District in Beijing from January to February.
The second phase ran in “some magazines” in April. The agency said it would respond with details on which publications it ran in.

Lol…reminds me of that scam where the ambulance, riot police vehicle and fire brigade trucks are all seen loaded inside a Fedex truck….this ones no different.
ReplyOnce in Brazil for UPS…once in singapore for fedex….both were …cough cough …initiatives.
ReplyOn a different front, I don’t think the creatives have taken Beijing metro during commute hours when the train turns into a living hell. There is no order. Hundreds of people shout at each other to get off and get on the train at the same time. I could not get off at the designated station – worse, somebody pushed me so hard that I was crushed into the wall, ending up with bleeding from mouth. Certainly, you don’t want your police officers/fire fighters/pizza delivery people to be stuck in such miserable trains.
I would suggest the team to come up with more urgently-needed public metro campaign; ” Let people get off first and then you enter the train!!”
ReplyScam alert!!!
