Singtel gives away free Hello Kitty toys to prepaid customers

Singtel has announced giving away Hello Kitty toys to prepaid mobile customers.

The announcement:

Singapore, 21 April, 2015 – Hello Kitty fans, rejoice. From now till 3 May or while stocks last, Singtel is giving away limited edition Hello Kitty plush toys to Singtel Prepaid Mobile customers who purchase or top up their credit.

With Singtel Prepaid Mobile’s self-service channels hi!Account, My Singtel App1 or the mWallet app, customers can easily top up their prepaid balances on the go, at any time of the day.

“From convenient refilling of balances, cost-effective data bundles and other valued service add-ons, there are many rewards to being a Singtel Prepaid Mobile customer,” said Johan Buse, VP of Mobile Marketing. “Singapore’s affection for Hello Kitty is well known, and we believe that our customers will enjoy these exclusive collectibles as much as they appreciate the myriad advantages of being a Singtel Prepaid Mobile customer.”

Seven inches in height, each limited edition Hello Kitty plush toy comes in a specially designed box. There are four designs available, (each exclusive to a specific purchase channel) – 4G Hello Kitty, Social Hello Kitty, Hello Kitty Ambassador and hi! Buddy meets Hello Kitty – with limited stocks available for each design.

To get a free Hello Kitty plush toy, Singtel Prepaid Mobile customers must have a mWallet account. A Hello Kitty coupon will be sent to their mWallet upon a successful transaction of $20 worth of prepaid SIM or plan top-ups via each self-service channel. These coupons may also be gifted to another mWallet user by 3 May.

To ensure a smooth experience, customers with Hello Kitty coupons will collect their limited edition plush toys during a Hello Kitty-themed redemption event at Marina Square, to be held from 8 to 10 May. Appointment bookings for the event will open on 6 May.
