Jerson Uy, the regional vice president of marketing for Mead Johnson in Asia, has moved on from the company, Mumbrella can reveal.

Uy leaves his post after more than five and a half years with the nutrition firm, according to sources.

He joined Mead Johson in 2010 after a long stint with Procter & Gamble that began in 1990. His latter role was regional general manager, Asia, for P&G’s male grooming business.

Uy, who has 22 years of experience in marketing, also worked in regional roles for P&G on brands including SK-II, Olay, Safeguard, Head & Shoulders and Rejoice, and in local marketing roles in Vietnam, the Philippines and Thailand.

Mead Johnson has yet to confirm Uy’s departure, or whether the company has a replacement lined up for him.

Uy, who worked with agencies including creative network Saatchi & Saatchi, Starcom for media and performance marketing agency Performics while at Mead Johnson, was tasked to work “with lean resources in a rapidly growing business and increasingly rigid regulatory environment,” according to his LinkedIn profile.
