Ikea tells Singapore to prepare for a legendary Chinese New Year with kung fu-cooking aunties

Ikea has launched a Chinese New Year campaign for the Singapore market.

In a 30-second film, uploaded to YouTube and Facebook yesterday, a grandmother and her daughter are preparing food in the kitchen, kung fu-style.

“Get ready for an epic Chinese New Year with Ikea. From pots and plants to decorations, we’ve got everything you need for a prosperous celebration,” the furniture company says on its Facebook page.

Ikea’s ad agency is Bartle Bogle Hegarty.
