Pixels announces mobile ad network reaches 9/10 Hong Kong smartphone users

Pixels has announced that its mobile advertising network reaches more than 90 per cent of mobile users in Hong Kong.

Pixels, HK’s leading and award winning multi-screen advertising company  is pleased to release its latest mobile traffic data for January 2016. As recorded by comScore’s Mobile Metrix 2016 Hong Kong, the Pixels operated Mobile Ad Marketplace reached 90.3% of all mobile users in Hong Kong equivalent to 4.119 million smart device users. Based on pageviews consumption share on the ad marketplace, Android reach was 54% while iOS was 46%.
“We have seen the Hong Kong market transform into a mobile lead market where user now spend as much time on mobile as they do on desktop. It is not surprising given the high smartphone and connectivity  in Hong Kong. “Advertisers are also catching up rapidly in mobile ad spending indicating that digital ad budget will make up 41% of total ad spends in 2016 at the recent HK2A’s ad spend report with mobile creeping up to 8% of total ad spends. ”, said Kevin Huang, CEO of Pixels.
