Billionbricks appoints Happy Marketer boss Prantik Mazumdar as strategic advisor

Happy Marketer managing partner Prantik Mazumdar has been appointed strategic advisor for homelessness charity billionBricks.

The announcement:

billionBricks, a social enterprise that works with homeless and displaced communities in South and Southeast Asia, has appointed Prantik Mazumdar, Managing Partner of Happy Marketer, as its Strategic Digital Marketing Advisor.

Prasoon Kumar, CEO of billionBricks, said “I met Prantik at Tough Solutions, our organisation’s launch event for winterHYDE. We immediately connected over social media marketing and its power and relevance in current times. Due to our passion for our respective fields, we discovered synergies between our practices, and resolved to leverage each other’s expertise through a partnership.”

In his role as Strategic Digital Marketing Advisor, Prantik will advise the non-profit organization on how to market, scale-up and monetize their efforts through digital marketing. Prantik Mazumdar, Managing Partner at Happy Marketer, said “Over the last decade, I have had the opportunity to advise medium and large enterprises on their digital strategy but along the way, I have always made it a point to apply the tenets of digital to non-profits and social enterprises, where I believe it can make a serious dent. This one is very special since Prasoon and his team are attempting to tackle the ambitious problem of homelessness and I am looking forward to playing a small part in the process.

I sincerely believe that a well mapped out digital strategy can help the organization and its stakeholders create the requisite awareness, foster meaningful discussions and debates, encourage crowdsourcing of ideas and funds, and facilitate the involvement of volunteers and help scale the impact of the organization.”

Prantik has also been instrumental in championing the idea of digital among non-profit organizations such as WWF, Earth Hour and Dialogue in the Dark.
