BBDO gives free advertising services to startups to celebrate 25 years in China
Advertising agency BBDO is giving its services away for free to 25 small businesses and startups in China to mark the network’s quarter of a century in the country.
The agency will, over the course of the next 12 months, be looking to identify and work with companies listed on Alibaba’s e-commerce site Taobao, offering them strategic positioning and creative work pro bono.
BBDO Greater China boss Tze Kiat-Tan said as a leader in the industry it was the company’s responsibility to give back.
“This is exemplified by our decision to work pro-bono in supporting brand building efforts for 25 small Chinese companies. We will measure results in terms of strong and stable business growth and on the quality of our strategic and creative solutions for these clients,” he said.
A reel showcasing its work for various clients over the years concludes with the words, “In the absence of great work, nothing else matters.”
In China, BBDO has worked with the likes of Master Kong, Disney, P&G, Johnson & Johnson, SC Johnson, Visa, Adidas and Alibaba.
