Dentsu Aegis to merge B2B agencies Gyro and Band Interprise in APAC
Dentsu Aegis Network is to merge its recently launched B2B agency Band Interprise with Gyro across the Asia-Pacific market.
Band Interprise, the agency born of DAN’s acquisition of Singapore B2B business Band in 2014, was initially intended to remain as a standalone unit when DAN acquired Gyro globally in July last year.
The APAC region was the last remaining untapped market across the globe for the Interprise brand. This week’s merger means Band Interprise will now be officially rebranded as Gyro in line with the global operation.
The new agency Gyro will be led by Kieran Vye, who is currently managing director of Band Interprise in APAC.
He said: “This is a very exciting development for our clients across APAC, the Middle East and Africa who can now tap into the B2B specialists across the globe, as well as the full resources of Dentsu Aegis Network, providing best-in-class marketing services and solutions to business leaders.”
Nick Waters, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network APAC, added: “Consolidating our B2B agency brands is an intergrated approach to creating a unique offering. Our strategy is to build key specialisms within our network to collaborate and activate the power of the network, ensuring we are well-placed to succeed in today’s fast-paced digital economy.”
Partner agency Interprise Australia has also merged with Gyro.
