Havas Indonesia wins Emirates among slew of new business

Havas Indonesia has won a raft of new business, including the creative account for Dubai airline Emirates, following a period of heavy pitching.

The Emirates win will see Havas manage and execute the airline’s creative mandate across Indonesia. The agency already has the media account, which it has held globally since 2013.

Alongside the Emirates win, Havas also picked up accounts with Indonesia Stock Exchange, fast food chain A&W Restaurants and Nikki, a brand of Nojorono Tobacco.

The A&W Restaurants and Indonesia Stock Exchange accounts include both creative and media disciplines and will be handled by an integrated Havas Village team.

In addition, Havas Indonesia will manage the ATL, digital and activation duties of the Nikki brand.

The wins follow a period of reorganisation for Havas globally, as the agency’s integrated ‘village’ concept was rolled out to its international markets. Havas Village Indonesia was launched in May last year and currently houses 250 people from media, creative and specialist brands, working together under one roof.

Havas Jakarta client service  director Satrio, who was involved in the pitches, said:  “It took me some time to adapt to the new team and a new way of working, but it is encouraging to see the results. By integrating all the channels and placing brand strategy and communication idea at the centre, we have developed an offering that’s not only efficient but also effective.”

Earlier this year, Havas merged its creative and media businesses into one P&L.
