Iris expands into Thailand with new office in Bangkok
Iris Worldwide is to open its seventh base in South East Asia with a new office in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Thailand hub will be led by Graham van der Westhuizen as managing director and Atiwat Manassarikan as planning lead.
Iris Thailand will global clients Philips and Shell, as well as regional clients including Chang Beer, and will work with the network’s creative teams in Sydney and Singapore.
Van der Westhuizen has worked at Iris for three years across Australia and Singapore and will be focused on expanding Iris’ team and client base in Thailand. Meanwhile, Manassarikan joins from Thai independent agency Storyteller, and previously worked for J. Walter Thompson Bangkok.
Van der Westhuizen said: “The Thai market is rapidly evolving; ad spend continues to grow and the ever-shifting consumer behaviour is igniting a very real thirst for innovation. I can’t think of a better opportunity or more exciting market for ambitious brands.
