Publicis Media APAC digital trading head Greg Fortune leaves to start consultancy

Publicis Media’s digital trading lead for Asia Pacific has left the company to start his own consultancy.

Moving home: Greg Fortune

Greg Fortune, who was listed on his LinkedIn as the head of trading for Singapore, recently left the Publicis Groupe company and returned to his home country, the United Kingdom. His replacement has yet to be announced.

Fortune joined Publicis Groupe as the head of trading for South East Asia at ZenithOptimedia in January 2016, reporting to Andy Carter, the Asia Pacific trading head of Vivaki.

However, following Publicis Groupe’s global restructure and the dissolution of ZenithOptimedia, Fortune and Carter were both moved into the new entity of Publicis Media.

“Greg has moved on from Publicis Media and back to the UK where he will focus on his own consultancy work,” Carter said.

“We thank Greg for his time in helping transition the business and help develop a digital partnership programme in Publicis Media. Greg’s replacement will be announced shortly.”

Before joining ZenithOptimedia, Fortune was the head of partnerships for EnjoyCompare,  a price comparison website he co-founded.

Prior to that, he was the regional head of digital trading and performance for Mindshare Asia Pacific.

Former Starcom Singapore MD Patricia Goh

His departure is another blow for Publicis Media, following the loss of Starcom Singapore’s managing director Patricia Goh to ad tech firm Amobee earlier this year.

She was replaced by Ian Loon, the former APAC head of digital transformation.
