Ogilvy HK boosts digital team with creative technologist and UX lead

Ogilvy Hong Kong has made two senior hires to its digital team with the appointment of Manolis Perrakis as head of creative technology and Vivi Fitriani as head of user experience.

Perrakis joins Ogilvy’s creative team from DDB, where he was responsible for creating the ‘Crafted By My Heart’ app that allows users to customise jewellery based on their heartbeat.

Having more than 15 years of experience in creative media and technological innovation, Perrakis has spent the last eight years working in Hong Kong.

He also worked on Coca-Cola’s glass augmented reality adventures and the ‘I’m Amazing’ campaign for McDonalds Hong Kong.

Meanwhile, Fitriani will act as a bridge between technology and experience design for clients. She joins Ogilvy from R/GA Singapore where she worked for clients such as Google, YouTube, Uber and Siemens.

Ogilvy Hong Kong chief creative officer Reed Collins said: “These new hires significantly bolster our already strong digital capabilities. With their respective technical skills and business acumen, it’s an exciting time for us here in Hong Kong as appetite from clients are increasingly leaning towards digital solutions.

“I’m proud to say that Manolis and Vivi’s complimentary talents will further drive our creative output to even greater heights. Watch this space.”
