APAC Awards deadline extension announced

Mumbrella Awards logo 2013The deadline for entries for the Mumbrella Awards, now in their third year, has been extended for the categories of Asia Pacific creative network of the year and Asia Pacific media network of the year to close of business on Friday May 17.   

The two categories are new initiatives for 2013 and were announced along with the launch of Mumbrella Asia in April.

The submissions must include work from three different markets, and are open to agency networks with offices in at least four different countries.

Mumbrella Asia editor Robin Hicks said: “We’re very excited about the quality of the work from across the Asia Pacific region. We thought it fair to give agency networks a bit more time as it’s the first year we’ve opened the awards to this area; we want to allow the best work to shine through by encouraging entries from across all the networks”.

The jury will shortlist the entries remotely and the shortlisted finalists for APAC network of the year will be asked to present on June 5 during the Mumbrella360 conference.

The entry process this year has been simplified, with all work to be uploaded to the Mumbrella Awards website.
