CNN launches product integration first for Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8.0

CNN Samsung integrated campaignCNN has launched an integrated sponsorship campaign with electronics giant Samsung’s mobile division.

The product integration idea – for Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8.0 – is a first for the news network in Asia, and will tie in with CNN’s News Stream show.

The Samsung-sponsored on-air billboards will run for about 10 seconds and bookend the program.

News Stream is anchored from Hong Kong by Kristie Lu Stout, and the campaign was driven by CNN’s inhouse creative team, Turner Commercial Productions.

William Hsu, VP of News adsales for CNN International Asia Pacific, said in a press release: “This new campaign delivers Samsung Mobile a significant branded presence alongside CNN’s award-winning content. Samsung Mobile has partnered with us for more than a decade and we’re delighted to further extend our relationship with them through this exciting and innovative new campaign.”
