Digital network Isobar has installed a new executive creative director in its Taiwan office with a background in traditional creative agencies.

Liberty Hsu joins the Aegis Media-owned network after a period freelancing. She has worked previously at traditional agency brands McCann, DDB, Saatchi & Saatchi and JWT, on brands including Unilever, Coke and the Taiwan Tourism Bureau.

Her move comes just over a week after Graham Kelly joined Isobar as its first regional creative chief.

Hsu will report to Peter Shen, the chief creative officer of wwwins Isobar China/Taiwan, and Freda Shao, the Taiwan agency’s MD.

Shao said in a press release: “Achieving success in an era of digital convergence is our focus; at Isobar we create irresistible ideas combining creativity, planning, technology and data to connect brands with their customers.

“Creativity plays a vital role in bringing our communication strategies to life and Liberty has a record of producing brilliant creative work. We are thrilled to have a strong and charismatic leader to head up the creative team, and I believe with Liberty’s inspiration we will bring further innovative and exciting ideas to our clients,” she added.

Hsu added: “I’m looking forward to working with the multi talented, passionate team at Isobar. I believe that by leveraging creative content with technology, we can create work that truly resonates with consumers and inspires our clients in today’s multi-screen world.”
