Interpublic Group creative agency DraftFCB has re-jigged its management team in the Philippines, bringing in Tommy Eugenio from Publicis Manila as president and COO.

Also new to the agency is former Bates and Ogilvy creative James Bernado as chief creative officer, who joins from retail giant SM Retail, where he was VP of marketing.

The hires will mean ECD Sydney Samodio will focus on the agency’s current clients but Bernado will run the creative department overall.

DFCB digital MD Carlos Sevilla will continue to run the digital offering.

Draftfcb Philippines chairman/CEO and president/CEO of holding company MFCB Arnold Liong said in a press release: “With the formidable new team of Tom and James backed up by Syd’s expertise over at Draftfcb, and the tremendous support from Carlos and the DFCB Digital team, I am extremely confident that we will reach even greater heights and sharpen our competitive edge within the industry.”

The agency’s regional COO Jonathan Allard added: “The management appointments in Manila continue our 2013 momentum and follow the recent creative appointments we made in Malaysia and Indonesia, as well as a new agency partnership made in Thailand and Myanmar earlier this year”.
