Heineken unveils clubber-friendly beer bottle

Heineken clubbing bottleHeineken has launched a new packaging design for its beer bottles to appeal to clubbers.

Singapore will be one of the first markets globally to sell the new bottles, described by the designer as ‘Vectorfunk’. The aluminium bottle has features that show up only under UV light.

The idea behind the design is the “juxtaposition of street art expression and urban culture”, according to a press release.

As part of the launch, Heineken has launched a Facebook app called True Profile, which enables consumers to find out ‘hidden truths’ about their personalities based on an analysis of their behaviour and activity on Facebook.

The campaign, with PR by Iris Singapore, will reach its conclusion with a party where guests and winners of a competition will be “led into a visually captivating playground of vectorfunk designs,” according to local Heineken brewer Asia Pacific Breweries.

The new Heineken Club Bottle will be available in June for a limited time only at Singapore venues Zouk, Mink, 1-Altitude, Dream, The Butter Factory, Wavehouse, Attica, Loof and Playhouse.
