Isobar restructures leadership team in China after OMP merger

Five months after acquiring of a local digital company in China, Aegis Media-owned digital Network Isobar has restructured its management team.

Jane Lin-Baden, Isobar’s regional CRM practice leader, has been appointed CEO of Isobar China, a newly created role. Lin-Baden was formerly COO of China’s wwwins Consulting, with which Isobar merged in 2004.

Isobar acquired OPM at the end of November last year.

Following Lin-Baden’s promotion, a new role have been created – managing partner of integrated media. Current MD Alvin Huang takes on this additional role to drive new business and ensure the merged companies are in sync.

Another people move is the promotion of head of strategy Amanda Lai to social practice leader for Isobar China.  Her new role is geared to put social media at the heart of what the agency does.

The merger with OMP last year created China’s largest media trading platform, according to the agency.

Isobar’s owner Aegis was acquired by Japan’s Dentsu earlier this year.
