Ogilvy’s Jeremy Seow joins Zeno Group as planning director

OgilvyOne Singapore’s social media specialist Jeremy Seow has joined Zeno Group as director of insights and planning.

The announcement:

SINGAPORE (May 16, 2013) – Zeno Group today announced the appointment of Jeremy Seow as Director, Insights and Planning. Based in Singapore, Jeremy will deliver innovative Social commerce and CRM solutions to local and regional clients – many of whom are looking to drive greater returns from their existing social marketing and engagement programmes.

A recent[1] report from the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) noted that the country’s e-commerce market grew 66.5 per cent in 2012 – to USD190 billion. It also cited social media and mobile as two key growth drivers – with 41.8 per cent of shoppers saying they had first seen information or promotions about a product on social media before deciding to buy.

“Commerce and loyalty are already hot topics, as social media marketing continues to evolve quickly,” said John Kerr, Managing Director, Zeno Group Asia. “While China is at the leading edge, we are seeing interest and having discussions in many markets, which is why we’re thrilled to have added an expert like Jeremy, who has deep experience across transmedia planning, engagement, content and CRM.

Jeremy joins from Social@Ogilvy and OgilvyOne’s Consulting unit, where he focused on crafting social strategies and solutions for firms such as IBM, IHG and SingTel. At Zeno he is currently working with clients such as Lenovo and BlackBerry.

Jeremy added; “Zeno impressed me with their proprietary ‘Emotion Design’ planning methodology, and is one of the few integrated consultancies in the social space with experienced and dedicated; creative, content, media-buying and technology specialists. The firm seeks to ensure that all client programmes start from an in-depth understanding of consumer values, behaviours and media consumption. This is the right place to start – whether your objective is brand-building, lead generation or sales – and it’s an exciting time to be a pioneer in this fast-growing industry.”
