Agencies get ready for live presentations for APAC Creative and Media Agency of the Year

Mumbrella Awards logo 2013A panel of five regional marketers is to assess the APAC contenders for the Mumbrella Awards tomorrow.

Agencies have 45 minutes to make their case for APAC Creative Agency of the Year and Media Agency of the Year during a series of live presentations to the jury, with 15 minutes of questions afterwards.

Grant Watts, head of global advertising at SingTel Group Digital L!fe, is among a judging panel that includes Asia Pacific marketing director of Beam Global James Sykes and Matthew Groskorth, global innovation director, Asia Pacific for Ansell.

Also on the panel is Peta Alexander, executive marketing director, Walt Disney Motion Pictures and Michael Edmonds, general manager global marketing Meat & Livestock Australia.

The jury will be captained by pitch doctor Darren Woolley of consultancy TrinityP3.

In contention for APAC Creative Agency of The Year are Saatchi & Saatchi, Y&R and DDB.

On the APAC Media Network of the Year shortlist are OMD, Carat and PHD.

The winners are to be revealed on the evening of Thursday 6 June at The Star casino in Sydney after the Mumbrella 360 conference.

The awards will be followed by an after party at The Star’s Cherry cocktail lounge sponsored by REA Media.
