LinkedIn has revealed the most-viewed profiles in marketing and advertising in Hong Kong.

M&C Saatchi APAC boss Chris Jacques, Bite APAC president David Ketchum, Starcom MediaVest Group GM Andrew Wong, Amazon’s social media marketing head Jason Pun and Thierry Halbroth, McCann Hong Kong’s ECD feature among the most popular profiles.

The publication of the list comes soon after it emerged that Halbroth is leaving Hong Kong to move to Thailand, while Jaques recently announced the scaling back of the Hong Kong office of M&C Saatchi.

Also on LinkedIn’s list are Rudi Leung, GM of digital agency Tribal, Rose Luk, head of digital marketing at Standard Chartered Bank, Napoleon Biggs, MD of Inspire Digital Asia and Antony Yiu, MD of iProspect HK, according to the business social network.

Of the top 41 most-viewed profiles in Hong Kong, ten are in marketing and advertising – more than any other sector, including finance, Hong Kong’s dominant business sector.

Nellie Chan, LinkedIn’s director for Southeast and North Asia, said: “The ‘Power Profiles’ list includes those LinkedIn members in Hong Kong who truly understand the need for personal branding. Many of them are seeing the value of investing time in LinkedIn to build and reinforce their personal brand, grow their connections and obtain insights.”

Thierry Halbroth featured in Mumbrella’s list of the silliest LinkedIn profile pics in May.
