McCann HK ECD Thierry Halbroth moves to Thailand

Thierry HalbrothThe executive creative director of McCann Hong Kong, who oversees the creative output for key client Cathay Pacific in 27 markets, is leaving the city.

Thierry Halbroth, who moved into the ECD role close to four years ago, is moving to Thailand to oversee McCann’s Chevrolet account.

A long-time McCann servant, Halbroth was a senior creative director at the agency for almost four years before he took the ECD role.

His replacement, who will run Cathay Pacific’s central team creative department out of Hong Kong, will be Martin Lever from TBWA\RAAD in the United Arab Emirates, McCann’s regional boss Charles Cadell told Mumbrella.

Halbroth has held a number of influential positions in Hong Kong, including creative committee chairman of the HK4As.

He was worked for M&C Saatchi, and has also held senior positions at agencies THC2 and Mercatela.
