Profero China wins two gongs at Smarties

Digital agency Profero has announced winning two awards at mobile marketing show the Smarties.

BEIJING-July 15, 2013: Profero, the world’s largest independent digital agency, has been recognised with two 2013 Smarties™ Awards from the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) at the Beijing 2013 MMA Forum.

Profero took home a Gold Smartie™ Multiple Platform Award and a Silver Smartie™ Non Profit Award for their work with Omo on the ‘Let’s Play China’ integrated campaign, encouraging more outdoor play amongst Chinese children with their parents

Profero China MD Jackie Xu Rui said she was delighted to receive two Smarties™ awards on behalf of Profero and its client partner.

“To be celebrated in this way is testament to our team’s ability to build creative client platforms that deliver phenomenal results,” she said.

“The innovative, bold approach taken by the OMO ‘Let’s Play China’ campaign reflects the range of opportunities available to forward thinking brands. Particularly those wishing to leverage digital platforms to tackle social issues, engage consumers and provide useful information and tools,” she added.

The MMA is the leading global trade association for the mobile marketing industry, and received close to 500 submissions across 19 categories and 36 countries from around the globe for the Smarties Awards. The awards recognize best-in-class mobile marketing executions from agencies, marketers, and other mobile providers.
