Hong Kong pharmacists highlight their role in healthcare

Advertising agency Y&R has launched a new campaign for the Society of Hospital Pharmacists in Hong Kong.

The idea behind the campaign is to raise awareness of the pharmacist’s role in healthcare.

A 30-second ad will run on TV, bus TV and online, while a longer version will run on YouTube, SHPHK’s website and social media properties. The film tells the story of pharmacist from her perspective.

“The challenge lay in the fact that Hong Kong people are unfamiliar with pharmacists’ actual role. They tend to rely heavily on doctors and nurses in hospitals and see pharmacists only as a medicine retail outlet,” said Pierre Loo, regional business director at Y&R Hong Kong.
