Maxus names Madelene Ortega as head of international accounts in China

GroupM media agency Maxus has named Madelene Ortega as head of its international clients division.

The announcement:

Shanghai –Maxus China is pleased to announce the appointment of Madelene Ortega as Head of Maxus International with immediate effect.

Madelene is responsible for the business development and management of Maxus’ international accounts in China. Maxus’ international clients include ECCO, JetStar, Victoria Tourism, Lee, UPS, Karcher, Falcon, and SC Johnson. Madelene took over from Damian Duffy, who has recently left the agency to pursue his personal goals.

Madelene has worked in the media industry for more than 10 years with extensive planning and management experience across different categories including FMCG, finance, beauty, automotive, baby products and travel. She joined Maxus Asia Pacific in March 2011 as Regional Account Director to lead the international accounts team while based in Singapore.

Prior to her career at Maxus, Madelene worked for OMD and ZenithOptimedia in Singapore. She started her career as a communications planner for Unilever in the Philippines, her home country.
