M&C Saatchi wins Singapore Tourism Board’s MICE account

STBM&C Saatchi has emerged the winner of a controversial pitch for Singapore Tourism Board’s MICE business.

Contenders for the business had complained that the client had given shortlisted agencies just three days to prepare for a presentation to the client.

The pitch tender was announced in March and the appointment was scheduled to be made in May – three months ago.

The announcement from M&C Saatchi:

Singapore Tourism Board has appointed M&C Saatchi Singapore as the Board’s agency to develop and produce MICE marketing assets.

Said Mr Tanuj Philip, CEO and Founding Partner of M&C Saatchi Singapore “Many of the senior talent within M&C Saatchi Singapore have direct experience working on the Singapore Tourism Board account in the past and on the MICE segment in particular. We are looking forward to bringing this category knowledge to the table.”

The scope of work includes the development of assets including print, advertorials, and related video content for worldwide usage.
