Tigerspike signals Northeast Asia expansion

Tigerspike, a media tech firm that specialises in user experiences for personal devices, has announced its intention to launch in Northeast Asia.

The company has also hired Phil Herborn as commercial director, who will lead the expansion plan.

Herborn has worked at Australian digital media firm Hyro and brand agency Moon Communications. He joins the firm not long after Sue Carter, who joined as head of commercial and strategy, Asia Pacific.

The staff additions mean Aisha Hillary, communication director, Asia Pacific, moves to a new commercial and strategic role.

Herborn said: “Mobility is rapidly evolving and is the leading technology driving business transformation today, so it’s an exciting time to be joining Tigerspike with their market leading mobile capability and progressive and innovative client base. I look forward to bringing my diverse digital and mobility experience to the team and to help Tigerspike’s continued growth through the Asia Pacific region.

Tigerspike, which launched in 2003, has opened offices in Sydney, Melbourne, London, Dubai, New York, Singapore and San Francisco and has 200 staff.
