Starcom’s Qaiser Bachani joins GSK as media director for emerging markets

Qaiser Bachani Drugs company GlaxoSmithKline has appointed an executive from a media agency to fill a new role as media director for emerging markets.

Qaiser Bachani joins the company from Starcom, where he ran planning for the P&G account in China.

Based in Singapore, he joins the global media team with a brief to work on paid media strategy. He will report to Sam Singh, VP of global media.

A media agency veteran, Bachani has worked at MediaCom, Mindshare and Initiative in Middle East, Malaysia and Pakistan.
