Campaign Asia hires MTR consultant Jason Wincuinas as managing editor

Campaign magazine has hired a writing consultant for Hong Kong’s subway system as the managing editor of its Asia Pacific edition.

Jason Wincuinas, who was also the financial editor for investment group CSLA, joins the Haymarket publication to fill the long-vacant editor’s job with immediate effect.

He will oversee Campaign Asia’s editorial team, with support from deputy editor David Blecken and online editor Matthew Miller.

His appointment means a promotion for long-serving editorial director Atifa Hargrave-Silk, who moves into the role of brand director, overseeing both Campaign and sister title CEI Asia Pacific.

Wincuinas’ career has involved a stint as a copywriter for Nye Lubricants, merchandising manager for Chinese Products Company and a freelance writer for Time Out Hong Kong.
