Strategic Public Relations Group wins PR duties for K-pop event MAMA

Hong Kong PR firm Strategic Public Relations Group has won a public relations brief for K-pop event MAMA, which will be held on 22 November at the Asia World Expo in Hong Kong.

The announcement:

Hong Kong, 31 October 2013 – CJ E&M, Asia’s Number.1 Content Company, has appointed Strategic Public Relations Group (SPRG) to manage public relations activities around K-Pop mega-event MAMA, to be held November 22, 2013 at Asia World-Expo, Arena, in Hong Kong.

SPRG will assist CJ E&M in managing international and local publicity for the award ceremony, which is acclaimed for its advanced stage production and mega-scale performances, as well as being considered the most prestigious on the K-Pop music calendar. The international broadcast will be accessible to 2.3 billion people in 85 different countries.

Worldwide music sensation Big Bang is confirmed to perform at the event. Named as the Best Worldwide Act at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards, Big Bang has captured legions of devoted fans internationally, transcending countries, cultures and languages. Formed in 2006 and including members G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri, the band is known for its unique brand of music, as well as trend-setting alternative fashion styles. More artists are expected to be announced closer to the event date.
