BBDO wins agency of the year at Singapore’s Creative Circle Awards

BBDO wins agency of the year at Creative Circle Awards in SingaporeOmnicom-owned agency BBDO has won top honours at the Creative Circle Awards in Singapore, claiming agency of the year.

The popular ‘Hawkers Heroes’ campaign for SingTel, featuring sweary celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey, was BBDO’s most awarded campaign, with other gongs going to the agency’s work for Guinness, FedEx and Mercedes.

BBDO’s Michelle Fun won young copywriter of the year.

SINGAPORE, 20th November 2013 – BBDO and Proximity Singapore emerged the triumphant winners of ‘2013 Agency of the Year’ at the Singapore Creative Circle Awards which took place last night.

With a record 48 finalists, the Agency’s total haul was 6 Golds, 8 Silvers and 12 Bronzes across 10 categories including integrated, direct, digital and print.

SingTel’s ‘Hawker Heroes’ was BBDO and Proximity’s most awarded campaign winning Best of Promo & Activation, Best of Entertainment & Branded Content, 4 Golds, 4 Silvers and 1 Bronze.

Further awards were also won for Guinness ‘Made of More’, Guinness ‘Arthur’s Day’, Mercedes and FedEx.

Michelle Fun took home the award for ‘Young copywriter of the year’.
