Creative director thanks radiologists who saved him from cancer with EDM campaign

S. G. Pierre EDMPhilips has launched an EDM campaign in tribute to radiologists to mark World Radiology Day.

The campaign was written by the creative director of Singapore agency Ambrosia Communications, S. G. Pierre, who recovered from cancer after radiology treatment.

The EDM, which was sent to Philips’ database of medical professionals, takes the form of a letter from Pierre, thanking the radiologists who saved his life.

It reads:

Thank you, dear Radiologist,

I was diagnosed with cancer last year and sure it was rough.

But thanks to the competence and commitment showed by many radiography professionals such as you I was able to survive the disease and get back to life.

So today I’m writing this ad not as a copywriter but as a grateful patient to say thanks and keep up the excellent life-saving work.

The EDM finishes, “When technology combines with humanity, the world becomes a better, healthier place.”
