Singapore indie Mandate joins owner-run network Worldwide Partners

Mandate Marketing CommunicationsSingapore creative agency Mandate has joined Worldwide Partners, an owner-run group of independent agencies.

The 35 year-old agency, which is led by managing partner Chew Lee Ching, joins a network of 86 indies that in Asia includes China’s WE Marketing Group, Japan’s Asahi Advertising, Korea’s WEBE and The A Team in Taiwan.

Joining Worldwide Partners enables Mandate to tap into financial, media and legal resources, and gives it the reach to go for regional new business.

Worldwide Partners is the largest owner-operated network with US$3.2 billion in billings. It is run in Asia by Singapore-based regional director of collaborations Tai Heng Aw.

Mandate’s key clients include the Singapore Army, which drew criticism from a women’s right group for targeting female recruits with a DM pack featuring make-up and a mirror a few months ago, shopping mall Vivocity, Thai Airways and Singapore’s island resort Sentosa.
