The Observatory merges with US consultancy Roth Associates

Roth ObservatoryMarketing consultancy The Observatory, which launched in Asia three years ago, has merged with US-based Roth Associates.

Forming under the name Roth Observatory International, the combined entity will give marketers in Asia access to industry best practice from “the world’s current capitals of marketing communications, London and New York”, a press release stated.

The company offers agency search and selection, performance evaluation and training.

Richard Bleasdale, regional managing partner, Asia Pacific, for Roth Observatory International, said: “Quite simply, this is all about maximising ROI. By formally merging the two companies, we’ve consolidated the best global learnings and extensive industry data from both businesses.”

“This ensures we can offer marketers across Asia Pacific, the optimum opportunity to get more from their marketing resources. And confirms our position as the strongest possible network for global marketers, and the ideal consultancy for local marketers who want global best practice.”

The merged companies have offices in Singapore, Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles, London, Edinburgh, Hamburg, Warsaw, Zurich and Johannesburg.

Roth Associates was formed in 1987 in the UK, while The Observatory was formed in 2007, opening in Asia in 2010.
