Golin Harris and China’s Magic Group form strategic partnership

PR agency Golin Harris has formed a strategic partnership with Chinese agency the Magic Group.

The deal enables the two agencies to share IP, tools and expertise on consumer, corporate, healthcare and digital communications for new and current clients.

“We have been getting to know Magic for more than two years now and we have a great respect for everyone there,” said Jonathan Hughes, international president at GolinHarris.

“China is an extremely important market for us and our partnership means that together we have over 150 digital and communications specialists who have access to colleagues and experts in different practices from around the world; and to our innovative g4 tools such as The Bridge, The Bright Collective and Brand Voice.”

Golin Harris China already has offices in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou, where it works with brands such as Lux, Dove, Singapore Airlines and Nippon Paint. The Magic Group has offices in Shanghai and Beijing, and works with the likes of is best known for its work with Unilever as well as Mars, BMW, and Roche.
