Reporters Without Borders presents what the news would be like without press freedom

Free press group Reporters Without Borders has launched a film to highlight what the news would be like without press freedom.

“We chose the end of year celebrations to makethe general public aware of the importance of defending the freedom to inform and to be informed. In many places inthe world, like Syria, Mali and Russia the dangers which the news providers expose themselves to are intensifying”, Christophe Deloire, General Secretary of Reporters Without Borders, said.

The agency behind the film, which will run online from this Saturday, was French hot shop BETC.
