Volvo Van Damme splits epic is most popular ad in Yahoo! Singapore’s 2013 viral ranking

A video featuring Jean Claude Van Damme doing the splits that went viral for Volvo Trucks was the most popular ad online in Singapore last year, according to data from Yahoo! Singapore.

In a ranking of the top viral videos, as compiled by Yahoo!’s editorial team, three branded videos featured in a top ten list topped by the Harlem Shake.

Dove ‘Beauty sketches’ and Evian’s ‘Baby and me’ also featured in the list, which did not contain any Asia-made ads.

The lists featured in Yahoo! Singapore’s year in review story, which also includes the most popular news searches, sports stories and entertainment searches.
