Chris Reed leaves Mig33 to start LinkedIn marketing consultancy

Chris ReedChris Reed has left social media firm Mig33 after less than a year to start his own LinkedIn marketing consultancy, Black Marketing.

The consultancy, which uses the slogan, ‘The dark art of B2B marketing’, offers LinkedIn profile management, ghost written blogs and personal brand positioning.

Reed joined Mig33 in April last year after a seven-month stint at mobile marketing firm Cell City. He has founded two companies in his career, loyalty agency Cocktail Marketing and Chris Reed Marketing.

Reed said: “Everyone has a LinkedIn profile, which is live 24/7, but most people don’t have the time to manage it and truly engage on a daily basis. Your LinkedIn profile never sleeps and therefore many people need help to ensure that it’s engaging every day and every night. If you’re not making the most of your LinkedIn profile your competitors are.”

He added: “We offer the service of helping time poor CEOs and MDs of SMEs and MNCs become more effective at engaging through content management and winning new business through LinkedIn and raising personal brand profiles. Our clients are busy CEOs and MDs of any kind of B2B business who don’t have the time to manage their own profile but know that they need to develop their personal brand through LinkedIn and win business by doing so”.

Reed is one of the industry’s most frequent posters in the LinkedIn news feed, and claims to be one of Singapore’s most influential bloggers.
