IAB Singapore seeks nominations for new leadership council

IAB SingaporeThe Singapore chapter of the Interactive Advertising Bureau has called for nominations for its 2014 leadership council.

Only paying members of the industry body can be nominated for the leadership council, which is currently chaired by CBS Interactive Asia boss Wendy Hogan.

In 2013, the council included the likes of David Brown, regional ECD of digital agency R/GA, Ken Mandel, the newly appointed APAC boss of HootSuite and Joe Nguyen, the SVP of ComScore Asia Pacific.

The window to make a nomination is between 15 January and 30 January. Voting will take place between 5 and 13 February and the results announced on 18 February.

The call for nominations comes shortly after the appointment of a new executive director, Miranda Dimopoulos, who has already secured Facebook and HootSuite as new IAB members.

The IAB is looking to grow its membership base beyond the traditional publishers such as Yahoo! and CBS Interactive.
