Aegis Dentsu hires IPG Mediabrands’ Sara Ye to run iProspect and Amnet in China

Aegis Media has appointed Sara Ye from IPG Mediabrands to run digital agencies iProspect and Amnet in China.

Shanghai, February 24, 2014:  Aegis Media China has announced today the appointment of Sara Ye as CEO of iProspect and Amnet China.  This appointment will take effect immediately.

Based in Beijing, Sara overseas both iProspect and Amnet in China and is responsible for developing and managing a market leading search and performance practice in order to support Aegis Media’s objectives in these areas. Sara is in charge of developing and furthering a sustainable business strategy and culture for both brands. Amnet will continue to be managed by Lawrence Wan, reporting into Sara.  After successfully launching the Amnet brand in China, Lawrence will work in partnership with Sara to scale up the business and continue to service the Aegis Media clients in programmatic trading.

A digital marketing veteran, Sara has 16 years advertising and marketing experience in both China and the United States with her expertise covering the full spectrum of performancemarketing -from programmatic buying/RTB, performance and search marketing (SEM), new media research, to analytics and insights. Prior to joining Aegis Media China, she was China President for Mediabrands Audience Platform, an IPG Mediabrands company which covers search, display, mobile, social, video, applications to e-commerce. There she took the lead to build the team, tripled the business and rolled out programmatic buying business. Before that, Sara headed up GroupM performance marketing team and built its business from scratch to top performance marketing agency in China. She previously worked for Google in both Google California Headquarters and Google China for 4 years.
