Craig Howie takes creative reigns of JWT Hong Kong as co-ECD Philip Lee moves on

JWT Hong Kong has appointed Craig Howie as chief creative officer.

Howie moves from JWT’s Shanghai office, where he led the agency’s Ford business as a senior creative.

Howie joins as JWT Hong Kong’s co-ECD Philip Lee departs. However, his partner ECD Barbara Fu is remaining with the agency, JWT has confirmed.

Howie’s career includes stints at JWT Tokyo, BBH Shanghai and Tokyo, Fallon Asia and Tribal DDB Singapore.

Dennis Lam, GM of JWT Hong Kong, said: “Craig is an outstanding talent with proven success in developing truly innovative work.  He has real passion and dedication to the creative product.  Craig’s regional experience and international recognition will be a real asset to our growing team.”

During his time in China, one of Howie’s major works was the ‘Yulu’ project for Johnnie Walker, which featured at Hong Kong’s International Film Festival.
