K3 Communications hires Dentsu Singapore’s Nicholas Leong as creative partner

New Singapore independent agency K3 Communications has appointed Nicholas Leong from Dentsu Singapore as creative partner.

At Dentsu, Leong held the position of creative director.

He joins K3’s management team with a brief to drive strategy as well as creative, and manage client-agency relationships.

“Nicholas is a heavyweight all-rounder. He’s a big hitter without the big ego. And that’s the kind of talent that differentiates us,” said Goh Wee Kim, K3’s founder.

“At K3 we want to give clients the kind of strategic and business experience they normally get from big agencies—all these plus an agency that can move and react faster. An agency that favours a collaborative approach, whose only priority is to do what is best for the clients.”

Over a 20-year career, Leong has had two spells at Dentsu, working on clients including Canon, Toyota and Kao. He also worked at M&C Saatchi, where he worked on BMW and British Airways.

K3 Communications launched in June by former BBDO, DDB and Batey creative Goh Wee Kim.
