Leo Burnett wins Pfizer in the Philippines

Pfizer has appointed Leo Burnett to handle its advertising activity in the Philippines.

The news emerges five months after the Publicis Groupe agency was awarded Pfizer brands Centrum and Caltrate in Vietnam.

The announcement:

(Manila: 20 February 2014) Pfizer Philippines Consumer Healthcare has awarded Leo Burnett Manila its creative duties. Impressed by Leo Burnett’s overall thinking that demonstrated integrated capabilities and expertise across marketing communications disciplines, the appointment was made following a four-way pitch process that was initially intended to choose two agencies. Portfolio includes popular brands such as Centrum, Caltrate Plus, Stresstabs, Clusivol, Robitussin, Advil, Loviscol and Chapstick.
