Vizeum appoints Zenith’s Terrence Yung to run China, Posterscope launches in Philippines

Terrence YungDentsu Aegis-owned media agency brand Vizeum has appointed a new CEO in China.

Terrence Yung brings to an end three years running Zenith Optimedia’s Chinese operations as vice president to take the job, and will report to Dentsu Aegis Network China boss KF Lee.

Lee said: “In this fast-changing media environment which has presented us great prospects and challenges, Vizeum as a leading media agency in China never stops pioneering the most effective connections between brands and consumers. Terrence’s extensive experience and proven capabilities will give Vizeum standout in this highly-competitive market.”

The news breaks as Aegis launches its out of home specialist Posterscope in the Philippines.

In an ambitiously worded press release, Aegis said that Posterscope aimed “to transform OOH with technology that will provide consumer centric planning and ROI analytics on OOH properties across the country.”

The company will be run by Vinay Goel as GM. Goel was previously with Posterscope in India where he was senior business director.

Goel said: “OOH media in the Philippines is now number two after TV, which we believe works way beyond static formats to really engage the consumer. A brand can interact, create brand engagement and share information in environments where people are active on day-to-day basis. Our key objective is to bring accountability backed with sufficient research into consumer behaviour to really show clients how important OOH is in the Philippines.”
