So, Maxis, one of Malaysia’s biggest advertisers, is running this ad in a national newspaper.
Can’t spot anything wrong with it? Take a look at the bottom right hand corner of the ad.
Dr Mumbo would like to shake the copywriter by the hand, and have a quiet drink with the client some time.
Can you focus on lower right hand corner? Can’t read, what does it say?
ReplySorry Roger, the copy is a bit faint. It reads: “If buffering is not an option, then you’ll want this. Recommended for heavy fucking speed Internet users.”

Has anyone verified the authenticity of this ad?
Replyfrom what i know that this isn’t an ad done by the client or an agency of records, it is probably done by a reseller or distributor
ReplyI guess everyone wants to know which national newspaper is this. Is it a pull out, leaflet, etc?
ReplyIt didn’t appear in any national newspaper. It appeared as a leaflet/pullout which –
D is right – was done by a reseller or distributor.
Source: I am that copywriter who worked on this campaign.
